Affinity Health Insurance
Over 200,000 New York residents are members of Affinity Health Plan, a non-profit managed care company that provides group and child health care, Medicare, and Medicaid for low-income individuals and families. Members are drawn to Affinity’s dedication to educate people about health and help them take steps to prevent falling ill and to building communities dedicated to health promotion. In April 2007, the New York Department of Health gave Affinity top ratings in its managed care consumer guide, based on customer surveys and quality of care.
