Arnett Health Plans
Arnett Health Plans provides health coverage to residents of northern-central Indiana. Arnett has been building its network since 1985, and it now includes around 300 physicians and specialists. The physician-owned company provides medical plans to individuals, businesses, and Medicare users. In addition, Arnett offers wellness programs to educate people about how to manage chronic health conditions such as asthma and diabetes, and how to preserve good health.
The Consumer Assessment of Health Plans Survey named Arnett the best health plan in Indiana, as well as number one in customer service and health care in the state for 2006. In a 2002 nationwide survey conducted by an independent agency, Arnett ranked as well as or better than other health providers in the nation on quality of health care and doctors, efficiency of care, and customer service.
Arnett Health Insurance Products
- Arnett HMO – Policyholders visit in-network doctors and select a primary-care physician. There are no claim forms or deductibles.
- Arnett Member Choice – A POS (point-of-service) plan that allows members to choose doctors inside or outside of the network.
- The Team Plan – Health coverage designed for small businesses (2-50 employees), with the choice of an HMO or POS plan.
- Arnett Gold Plan – Helps Medicare users pay for services that Medicare does not.
- Health Care Administrators – Assists businesses with self-funded insurance plans.
