Cox Health is a community-oriented health insurance provider that serves uninsured and underprivileged residents in southwestern Missouri. The company strives to provide excellent service and efficiently manage its costs and pass savings on to its customers. Cox Health also educates people about health and conducts research, with the help of its many volunteers. Cox operates 55 clinics and a network of 1,000 physicians and 21 hospitals.
Cox Health Insurance Products
Individual and Family Health Plans
- Traditional: Provides a lifetime maximum benefit of $2 million, with deductibles ranging from $500-$5,000. Benefits are comprehensive and include hospitalization, maternity, and mental health care.
- Value First: Same benefits as the Traditional plan, but with higher deductibles ($1,000-10,000), and lower rates to see out-of-network doctors.
Health Plans for Children
- Kids First: Medical insurance for children ages 6 months-18 years. Children will receive the same benefits as individuals and families under the Traditional plan.
Employers' Health Plans
- Solutions HMO and Solutions HMO with POS: A no-deductible plan with no limit on lifetime benefits. The POS option allows the policyholder to visit an non-network provider for a deductible of $500 or $1000.
- HMO 15/20 and HMO 20/25: Employee HMO plans with low co-pays for visits to primary care physicians, and a $5 extra to visit a specialist.
- Partners 70, 80, and 90: Cox offers 3 PPO plans with a wide variety of benefits. Rates vary by plan.
