- HIP members have access to close to 22,000 physicians in more than 33,000 locations;
- Our participating providers have met HIP's strict credentialing criteria;
- Members have access to innovative products that can provide choice and flexibility;

HIP members have exceptionally wide choices in how they obtain access to care. Members can go to convenient health centers operated by private, multi-specialty physician groups; or to health centers operated by some of the top New York City area hospital systems, including Continuum Health Partners (Beth Israel Medical Center and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center); Montefiore Medical Center; Lenox Hill Hospital; and, St. Barnabas Hospital. Members can also obtain care through a network of 20,000 doctors who work out of neighborhood offices in private practice.
HIP also provides a pastoral care program (Integrative Wellness) in many of HIP's participating hospitals. Through this program, HIP-trained volunteers make more than 2,000 visits every month to hospitalized HIP members. The volunteers provide non-denominational spiritual support and companionship during hospital stays for members who are worried or lonely, or for those who find spiritual guidance an important part of their treatment and recovery from serious illness.
