Intermountain Healthcare is a non-profit health care system that provides high quality care at affordable prices. It, and some of its hospitals, have won numerous awards, including "Most Wired" from the American Hospital Association's Hospitals & Health Networks magazine, and in 2005, Verispan and Modern Healthcare named Intermountain Healthcare the top integrated health system in the nation for the fifth time.

IHC's Health Insurance Products and Services

Intermountain Healthcare offers plans for individuals and families as well as health plans for both small and large businesses

Individual and Family Health Plans

• Standard HMO (deductible, co-pay and coinsurance options, and additional benefits)
• High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) called HealthSave (compatible with Health Savings Accounts (HSA), higher deductible amounts and tax savings).

Business Health Plans

For small and Large businesses, they offer three designs. The first is an HMO with plans called Select Value, Select Med and Select Care. You are required to use in-network providers except when traveling or in emergency cases. The second is called Plus Product, which is an HMO with plans called Select Med Plus and Select Care Plus. It has a point-of-service (POS) feature that allows you to use providers and facilities outside the network at a reduced benefit. The third is a Premier Product with a plan called Select Choice Premier. It allows you to have open access to the facilities and providers in the entire state of Utah. There are also prescription drug, dental, chiropractic and HSA options available.
